Q: My child is new to gymnastics. What should they wear to class?

A: Regardless of age, we strongly suggests your child comes to class in athletic clothes they can move in that will not snag on any equipment. This includes: Leotards and bare feet are best. Other acceptable clothing is: footless tights, shorts, fitted tank tops and t-shirts. Also, gymnasts with long hair must have their hair tied back in a bun, braid, or ponytail with their bangs out of their face. Gymnasts can NOT wear jeans, dresses, skirts, tutus or anything that requires a belt or tie closure. This also includes large hair accessories that will constantly fall off or distract them like fashion headbands and clip-on bows. Lastly, gymnasts can NOT wear jewelry of any kind. Stud earrings are okay. 

 

 

Q: I have two children that are very attached and my other child wants to be with her friend.
 Can they be in the same class?

A: All of our classes are divided based on age and skill level. This ensures that each child in the class is getting the proper instruction based on what they know and what they want to learn. We completely understand the need to keep siblings or friends together but this will only work if the children are all the same age or skill level. If they are different ages or skill levels, we can work with you to assure that the siblings or friends can have class at the same time so they can see each other in the gym and make it easier for your schedule and pick-up and drop-off purposes.

 

 

Q: My child loves her class and wants to come more days, but I want her/him to have more individualized attention to improve their skills. What can we do?

A: Luckily, we offer PRIVATE LESSONS for all ages and skill levels! Call our office today to see what days and times our coaches have available. We offer privates that run from 30 minutes - 1 1/2 hours. Weekday privates may run before 4:00. Weekend privates are available based on our Birthday Party schedule as well as the coach's availability.
